In-Home Consultation

Do you need guidance on a pointed manner of how to decorate your space? This is a consultation to gain a better understanding of you, your space, needs and wants. The two hour in-home consultation is an ideal way to see how we would approach designing your your two or three key spaces – and whether we are right for each other – without any obligation.Most of our design services start with a 2 hour in-home consultation to assess your needs and provide direction for your project.

What's included in an In-Home Consultation:
• Up to two hours
• Getting to know you, understand your needs and discuss initial thoughts, ideas and make suggestions for a design direction
• Walk through of two or three key rooms to determine your style and how you live
• Recommendations for furniture layout
• Help to define a comfortable budget
• Paint colour selection (a handwritten list of up to 3 colors if desired)
• Window treatment ideas
• Lighting ideas
• Ideas for new furniture and furnishings
• Styling tips
• Ideas on how to mix patterns, styles, antiques
• Explanation of the design process, how we work and what to expect
• Answer any other questions you may have

Please note that no design work, materials or furniture selections or re-arranging of furnishings will happen during this meeting. It all happens verbally. We encourage you to take notes. The consultation is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and understand your needs better, as well as an opportunity to discuss initial ideas which we take time to develop later into a custom design plan, tailor-made for your specific needs.
